브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 2일 오전 한국타이어 대전공장에서 한국타이어 대표이사 안종선 사장, 한국노총 한국타이어앤테크놀로지노동조합, 대전∙금산공장 임직원, 협력사 관계자 등 120여 명이 참석한 가운데, ‘안전혁신활동 선포식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 선포식은 임직원의 안전을 최우선 가치로 삼는 한국타이어의 선진 경영 문화를 공유하고, 선제적 안전혁신으로 더욱 안전하고 건강한 사업장을 만들어 나가기 위한 결의를 다지기 위해 기획됐다.
이날 선포식에서 한국타이어는 △현장 중심 관리 계획 수립을 통한 선제적 안전보건 거버넌스 확립 △외부 전문기관 파트너십 기반 안전보건 역량 강화 △전 임직원이 안전혁신 주체가 되는 자율적 안전 문화 구축 등 세 가지 안전 혁신 실천 방안을 공개했다.
아울러 안전혁신 TFT(Task Force Team) 운영 계획 발표, 안전혁신 실천 결의문 낭독 및 서명, 동영상 시청, 대전공장 생산 시설 순회 등을 진행했다.
안종선 사장은 담화문을 통해 “한국타이어는 끊임없는 제도 개선을 이어나가며 선진화된 안전보건경영 시스템 구축에 만전을 기할 계획”이라며 “안전은 우리 서로를 지키는 약속이며 우리가 함께 만들어 나갈 미래의 기반이다”고 강조했다.
한국타이어는 보다 안전하고 쾌적한 작업 환경 제공을 목표로 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 이사회 산하 ESG운영위원회 내 SHE(안전∙보건∙환경)위원회 설치와 함께, CEO 직속 안전보건관리 전담 조직을 중심으로 지속 가능한 안전보건경영 프로세스 확립 및 고도화를 추진하며 자율 안전보건 체계를 지속 강화해 나가고 있다.
이러한 노력의 일환으로, 글로벌 8개 생산기지 전체에 ‘5대 골든룰’ 제도 및 ‘7대 안전행동 수칙’ 운영, ‘안전 핫라인(Hotline)’ 구축, 작업 전 TBM(Tool Box Meeting) 활동 등 임직원이 안전 혁신의 주체가 되는 자율적이고 성숙한 안전 문화 확립에 매진하고 있다.
또한, 작업 과정에서의 안전 확보를 위한 ‘LOTO(Lock Out, Tag Out)’ 시스템 확대 적용, SHE 진단 및 교육 체계 고도화, 글로벌 생산기지 간 SHE 교차 점검 도입, SHE 우수 활동 사례를 선정해 포상하는 ‘SHE Best Practice’ 제도 운영 등 현장 중심의 실질적인 SHE 활동을 추진 중이다.
