【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군(군수 손병복)은 최근 강수량 부족으로 인한 가뭄 우려에 대응하기 위해 지난 1일 군청에서 ‘가뭄 대비 긴급대책회의’를 열고 부서별 대응체계를 점검했다.

이번 회의에서는 생활·농업 분야의 피해를 예방하기 위한 선제적 대응책과 향후 대책이 집중 논의됐다.
안전재난과는 ‘2025년 가뭄 종합대책’을 수립하고 가뭄대책 T/F를 운영하며 상시 감시체계를 가동 중이라고 밝혔다. 향후 상황이 악화될 경우 재난안전대책본부를 단계적으로 가동할 계획이다.
농정과는 가뭄 취약지역에 물탱크 39개소를 설치(총사업비 11억 원)해 농업용수 부족에 대비했으며, 2,330농가의 농작물 재해보험 가입을 지원해 피해 최소화를 도모했다.
건설과는 하천 굴착 157개소, 관정·양수장 보수 70개소를 완료하고, 양수기 51대를 주민들에게 대여했다. 또한 관내 대형 양수기 보유 업체와 협력해 긴급 상황 발생 시 장비를 즉시 투입할 수 있도록 준비했다.
농업기술센터는 재해대책 상황실을 운영하며 기술 지도반 20명을 편성해 2,286ha에 대한 예찰활동을 진행 중이다. 아울러 무인항공기를 활용한 병해충 공동방제를 확대해 농작물 피해 예방에 나서고 있다.
