[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 벼 육묘사업 활성화를 위한 '부울경 벼 육묘·신기술 협의회 창립총회'가 지난 8일 경남농협에서 열렸다.

이날 부산 울산 경남 농협 조합장 13명이 참석한 가운데 협의회 공식 출범을 알리고, 고성동부농협 천재기 조합장을 회장으로 선출했다.

부회장에는 사남농협 김종기 조합장, 감사는 율곡농협 강호윤 조합장이 선임됐다. 

천재기 초대 협의회장은 "공동육묘장 활성화로 농촌의 일손부족 문제를 해결하고 드문모 심기 신기술을 확대하여 지역 쌀 산업 발전에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

경남농협 류길년 본부장은 “협의회를 통해 벼 육묘사업 운영 우수 노하우 전파가 기대되며 농업인의 일손부족 해소와 농업소득 증대에 기여할 수 있도록 다양한 채널을 통해 사업 활성화를 위한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
