전문건설공제조합(이사장 이은재)이 11일 세종시청을 찾아 전동면 호우 피해복구 지원 성금으로 1,000만 원을 기탁했다.
세종시에 따르며 이날 성금은 지난 7월 극심한 폭우로 큰 피해를 입고 특별재난지역으로 선포된 전동면 지역 주민의 조속한 일상 회복을 위해 이뤄졌다.
전달식에는 최민호 시장과 이은재 전문건설공제조합 이사장, 이희정 세종사회복지공동모금회 사무처장 등이 참석했다.
성금은 호우피해로 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 저소득층 8가구에 전달될 예정이다.
이은재 이사장은 “집중호우로 큰 어려움을 겪고 있는 주민들에게 깊은 위로를 전한다”며 “상생경영의 일환으로 지역 복구와 재건에 지속적으로 힘을 보태겠다”고 말했다.
최민호 시장은 “특별재난지역으로 선포된 전동면의 수해 복구가 여전히 진행되고 있는 가운데 힘을 보태준 전문건설공제조합에 감사하다”며 “수해를 입은 주민들이 일상을 회복하는 데 큰 도움이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
