모든 공연은 무료로 관람할 수 있으며, 행사 당일 관람객을 위해 2천여 석의 좌석이 마련된다.
수원시 관계자는 “성대한 능행차 행렬뿐만 아니라 시민들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 프로그램을 준비했다”며 “1795년 을묘년 원행으로 돌아간 듯한 특별한 경험을 하고 다양한 볼거리를 즐기길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편, 정조대왕 능행차 재현 행렬(수원 구간)은 9월 28일 오전 11시 30분 노송지대에서 시작해 장안문을 거쳐 행궁광장에서 마무리된다.
