(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=광주 남구가 오는 25일 오후 6시, 광주공원 성거사지 5층석탑에서 '제5회 성거사지 5층석탑 다례재 및 평안 기원대제'를 개최한다.

고려시대에 세워져 백성의 평안을 기원해 온 성거사지 5층석탑(보물 제109호)은 일제강점기 훼손의 아픔을 겪었음에도 역사적 가치를 인정받으며 광주를 대표하는 석탑으로 자리를 지키고 있다. 이번 행사는 이처럼 소중한 역사를 되새기는 의미 있는 시간이 될 것이다.
