[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 25일 오전 서울 여의도 콘래드호텔에서 수도권 기업을 대상으로 부산의 '투자 환경과 파격적인 인센티브'를 설명하는 '수도권 투자유치 설명회'를 개최했다.
이날 설명회에는 박형준 시장을 비롯해 ㈜현대백화점 정지영 대표 등 100여 개 기업 대표와 한국핀테크산업협회 등 유관기관 관계자 200여 명이 참석했다.
행사는 ▲투자 양해각서(MOU) 체결을 시작으로 ▲부산의 비즈니스 친화적인 환경과 전국 최대 규모의 투자 특전 소개 ▲투자에 최적화된 산업단지 안내 ▲박 시장 주재의 기업인들과의 대화 순으로 진행됐다.
센텀 2지구, 에코델타시티 등 특화단지 집중 홍보 및 파격적인 투자 특전 안내
시는 이번 설명회에서 주요 산업단지와 함께 기회발전특구를 집중 홍보하고, '센텀 2지구 도시첨단산업단지(도심융합특구)'와 에코델타시티 등 조성 중인 신규 산업단지의 유망 기업 및 선도(앵커) 기업 유치에 공을 들였다.
센텀 2지구는 2030년 정식 준공 예정으로, 전체 부지 191만㎡ 중 44만㎡가 산업 용지로 공급되며, 정보통신 기술(ICT) 융합 허브밸리로 조성돼 정보통신, 스마트 선박, 로봇 등 지식기반산업을 집적할 계획이다.
시는 또한 현재 특별 할인 분양 중인 강서구 에코델타시티의 특장점을 설명하는 등 입주 희망 산업의 유치를 위한 적극적인 '세일즈'에 나섰다.
아울러 시는 올해 조례 개정을 통해 지식서비스산업 분야의 입주보조금·시설장비보조금 지원한도액을 당초 7억 원에서 100억 원으로 대폭 상향한 파격적인 보조금 제도*를 대대적으로 홍보하며 첨단산업 유치에 총력을 기울인다는 방침이다.

㈜현대백화점, 한화파워시스템㈜, ㈜소셜빈과 총 7,593억 원 투자 협약
이날 설명회에서는 ㈜현대백화점, 한화파워시스템㈜, ㈜소셜빈 총 3개 사와 함께 투자협약이 체결됐다. 이번 협약에 따라 총 7,593억 원이 부산에 투자되며, 2,226명의 신규 고용 창출이 기대된다.
㈜현대백화점: 강서구 에코델타시티에 백화점과 아웃렛의 경계를 허무는 하이브리드형 복합몰 '더현대 2.0'의 첫 번째 프로젝트를 조성할 계획이다. 7,346억 원을 투자해 연면적 198,782㎡ 규모로 2천여 명의 신규 고용을 추진하며, 지역 인재 우선채용 및 지역 소상공인과의 상생 방안 마련 등 현지화 노력도 포함된다.
한화파워시스템㈜: 2023년 투자 유치 이후 '선박 설루션 사업센터'의 추가 확장을 위한 2차 투자를 결정했다. 91억 원 규모의 투자를 통해 160명 이상의 신규 고용을 추진할 예정이며, 부산의 네트워크 및 뛰어난 정주 환경이 확장 결정 요인이었다고 밝혔다.
㈜소셜빈: 부산을 대표하는 예비 유니콘 기업으로, 전자상거래 기반 라이프스타일 용품 제조 기업이다. 부산진구에 156억 원을 투자해 신사옥을 건립하고 65명의 신규 고용을 창출할 계획이다.
시는 민선 8기 출범 이후 올해 9월까지 16조 원 넘는 투자유치 실적을 달성했으며, 지난 15일 수도권 소재 우수기업(1,500개)에 투자유치 안내문을 발송했고, 11월에는 부산 투자 의향 잠재 기업들을 대상으로 현장 홍보 여행(팸투어)을 개최할 예정이다.
박형준 시장은 "에이치엠엠(HMM) 본사 이전, 부산형 기회발전특구 추가지정, 센텀 2지구 도심융합특구의 조기 분양 추진 등 부산의 투자 매력은 헤아릴 수 없을 정도로 많다"며, "이번 설명회를 통해 기업인들에게 부산 미래산업 비전을 제시하고, 우수한 기업 유치를 통해 수도권 일극주의에 대응할 동남권 거점도시의 역할과 기능을 다하겠다"라고 강조할 예정이다.

Busan City (Mayor Park Heong-joon) is kicking off its efforts to attract Metropolitan area companies by holding the 'Metropolitan Area Investment Attraction Briefing' today (25th) at 11 a.m. at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, to explain Busan’s investment environment and exceptional incentives. The city plans to actively promote Busan's outstanding industrial competitiveness and secure investments from companies in the Metropolitan area through this briefing.
Mayor Park Heong-joon, along with representatives from over 100 companies, including Hyundai Department Store CEO Jung Ji-young, and officials from related organizations such as the Korea FinTech Industry Association, totaling about 200 attendees, are participating in the event. The agenda includes ▲Investment Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing, followed by ▲an introduction to Busan's business-friendly environment and the nation's largest investment incentives, ▲guidance on optimized industrial complexes for investment, and a Q&A session with business leaders led by Mayor Park.
Intensive Promotion of Specialized Complexes like Centum 2 District, Eco Delta City, and Groundbreaking Incentives
The city is focusing on attracting promising companies and anchor firms to new industrial complexes, such as the Centum 2 District Urban Advanced Industrial Complex (Urban Convergence Special Zone) and Eco Delta City, while also intensively promoting key industrial complexes and the Regional Development Special Zone.
The Centum 2 District, scheduled for formal completion in 2030, has a total area of 1.91 million square meters, with 440,000㎡designated for industrial use (excluding support facilities). The plan is to develop it into an 'ICT Convergence Hub Valley,' clustering knowledge-based industries like ▲Information and Communications ▲Smart Ships ▲Robotics.
The city is actively engaged in 'sales' efforts to attract desired industries, including explaining the features and benefits of Eco Delta City in Gangseo-gu, which is currently offering special discounted pre-sales.
Furthermore, the city plans to aggressively promote the groundbreaking subsidy system* that was significantly expanded this year through ordinance revision, increasing the support limit for the knowledge service industry to attract high-tech industries to new industrial complexes.

Signing Investment Agreements with Hyundai Department Store, Hanwha Power Systems, and Social Bin Totaling ₩759.3 Billion
Following the presentation, an investment agreement signing ceremony took place with a total of three companies: Hyundai Department Store, Hanwha Power Systems, and Social Bin. This agreement is expected to inject ₩759.3 billion into Busan, creating 2,226 new jobs.
㈜Hyundai Department Store: Plans to build the first project of 'The Hyundai 2.0,' a hybrid complex mall that blurs the lines between department stores and outlets, in Eco Delta City, Gangseo-gu. The company plans to invest ₩734.6 billion in a facility spanning 198,782 m2 in gross floor area, aiming to create 2,000 new jobs. The MOU also includes efforts for localization and local community development, such as prioritizing the hiring of local talent and implementing measures to revitalize local small businesses and traditional markets.
Hanwha Power Systems㈜: Following its initial investment attraction by Busan City in 2023, the 'Ship Solution Business Center' is proceeding with a second investment for further expansion. The company plans to invest ₩9.1 billion and create over 160 new jobs, stating that factors like "the network with related local companies and the advantageous labor supply due to Busan's excellent residential environment" were key determinants for the business expansion.
㈜Social Bin: A preliminary unicorn company representing Busan, this is a lifestyle product manufacturing firm based on e-commerce. Driven by the explosive growth of the relevant market, the company plans to invest ₩15.6 billion to construct a new headquarters in Busanjin-gu, generating 65 new jobs.
Since the launch of the 8th popularly elected administration, the city has achieved over ₩16 trillion in investment attraction as of September this year. The city has also sent investment attraction guides to 1,500 excellent companies in the Metropolitan area on the 15th and plans to host an investment attraction Familiarization Tour (Fam Tour) in November for potential companies interested in investing in Busan, promoting its infrastructure and investment environment.
Mayor Park Heong-joon is scheduled to state, "Busan's investment appeal is so abundant—including the relocation of HMM headquarters, additional designation of Busan-type Regional Development Special Zones, and the early pre-sale of the Centum 2 District Urban Convergence Special Zone—that it's hard to mention them all."
He will emphasize that through this briefing, the city will present its future industry vision to business leaders and fulfill its role and function as a hub city in the Southeast region to counter the Metropolitan area's unipolarity through the continuous attraction of outstanding companies.
