이번 위문은 지역사회 소외계층과 국가 안보를 위해 헌신하는 장병들에게 감사의 마음을 전하고, 훈훈한 명절 분위기를 함께 나누기 위해 마련됐다. 위문품은 울진군노인요양원을 비롯한 5개 사회복지시설과 제121보병여단 등 3개 군부대에 전달됐다.
울진군의회는 매년 명절마다 복지시설과 군부대를 찾아 위문 활동을 이어오며, 이웃과 함께하는 따뜻한 지역사회 조성에 앞장서고 있다.
