【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항상공회의소(회장 나주영)는 29일 오전 10시 위덕대학교 유아교육과 졸업예정자 20여 명과 함께 지역 내 유치원과 어린이집 2곳을 방문하는 ‘기업 현장탐방 프로그램’을 실시했다.

이번 프로그램은 학생들이 실제 보육 현장을 체험하며 업무 환경과 교육 과정을 이해하고, 현직자와의 질의응답을 통해 향후 진로 설계에 도움을 받을 수 있도록 마련됐다.
참여 학생들은 수업 운영 방식, 보육 프로그램, 교사의 역할 등에 대한 설명을 듣고 아이들과 교사가 상호작용하는 모습을 직접 관찰했다. 한 학생은 “아이들이 생활하는 실제 공간을 보며 교사에게 필요한 세심한 준비와 노력을 알게 됐다”며 “졸업 후 현장에서 아이들을 만날 준비를 더욱 철저히 해야겠다고 느꼈다”고 소감을 전했다.
한편, 이번 프로그램은 ‘청년일자리 로컬솔루션 프로젝트 사업’의 일환으로 진행됐다. 이 사업은 정부의 청년고용 지원정책에 발맞춰 경상북도, 포항시, 포항상공회의소가 공동 추진 중이며, 기업·청년·지역사회의 연계를 통해 지역 중소·중견기업의 청년 취업 확대를 목표로 하고 있다.
