【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주대표 예술문화축제인 우륵문화제가 6만 여명의 관람객을 유도하며 지난 28일 폐막식을 끝으로 5일간의 여정을 마무리했다.
(사)충주예총(회장 최내현)에서 주최한 이번 행사는 9월 24일 개막공연 ‘풍류:권주가’를 시작으로 28일 폐막 특별 프로그램 ‘대한민국 창작향토가요제’까지 전통과 현대가 어우러진 총 70여 개의 다양하고 풍성한 프로그램이 운영됐다.
특히 개막공연‘풍류:권주가’는 충주예총(회장 최내현)과 충주시립우륵국악단이 협업한 작품으로 국악과 충주의 지역특산주를 접목해 충주만의 감각으로 풍류정신을 담아내며, 지역의 고유자산으로 확장했다는 점에서 호평을 받았다.
이번 축제는 100인의 가야금과 EDM이 어우러진 ‘우륵의 아리랑’, 택견과 비보잉의 무&뮤(武&舞) ‘유광비천’, 창작민요프로젝트 그룹 ‘화로’ 공연과 제머리마빡 등 국악과 전통예술을 강화하는 다채로운 프로그램이 펼쳐졌다.
