【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=지난 26일, 옥천 문화예술회관에서 ‘제17회 옥천짝짜꿍 전국 동요제’가 개최됐다. ‘짝짜꿍 동요제’는 정순철 기념사업회가 주최하고, 7월 1일 열린 옥천지역 예선을 통해 선발된 4팀과 전국에서 우편·영상 등으로 응모한 참가자 중 선정된 9팀까지 총 13개 팀이 본선 무대에 올랐다.
이번 전국동요제에서 대상은 성남미금초 금빛물결중창단으로 이날 금빛물결중창단은 13팀 중 여덟번째 순서로 무대 위에 올라 ‘옹기가 뚝딱’ 곡을 동요다운 투명하고 맑은 목소리와 귀엽고 아기자기한 구성으로 영예로운 대상을 차지하며 상금과 함께 충청북도지사 상을 받았다.
정순철기념사업회는 일제강점기에도 색동회 회원으로 어린이 사랑운동을 이끌며 많은 동요를 작곡하신 정순철 선생의 뜻을 모아 지난 2008년부터 매년 동요제를 열고 있다. 이번 대회는 추후 MBC충북을 통해 방송될 예정이다.
황규철 옥천군수는 “전국의 어린이들이 옥천에 모여 아름다운 동요로 꿈과 끼를 마음껏 펼칠 수 있어 매우 뜻깊은 자리였다”며“앞으로도 어린이들이 마음껏 재능을 발휘하고 성장할 수 있는 문화예술의 장을 지속적으로 마련해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
