지구촌한글학교미래포럼(공동대표 박인기·김봉섭)과 세종대왕기념사업회(회장 최홍식)는 오는 10월 2일(목) 오후 1시, 서울 동대문구 회기로 56 세종대왕기념관 2층 강당에서 ‘훈민정음 반포 579돌’과 『훈민정음 해례본』 유네스코 세계기록유산 등재(1997.10.1) 28주년을 기념하는 제13회 발표회를 공동 개최한다.
지난 8월 열린 제12회 발표회에 이어 마련된 이번 행사는 한글의 역사적 가치와 세계적 의미를 되새기고, 미래 세대에 전승할 교육·문화적 과제를 모색하는 뜻깊은 자리다.

이번 발표회에는 외솔 최현배(1894~1970)의 손자인 최홍식 세종대왕기념사업회 회장, 김주원 한글학회 회장, 이기수 한국법학원 원장, 홍종진 국가무형문화재 대금정악 전승교육사, 이필형 동대문구청장, 김슬옹 세종국어문화원 원장, 박현모 세종국가경영연구원 원장, 고정미 뉴질랜드 와이카토한인회 회장이 함께한다.
또한 배우리 한국땅이름학회 회장, 조재철 전 주콩고민주공화국 대사, 최용기 전 몽골민족대학교 부총장, 최인숙 경기신문 주필, 김은애 전 서울대 언어교육원 대우교수, 박우석 하나를 위한 음악재단 간사, 박혁문 소설가, 양신영 세계한민족여성네트워크 독일지회 부회장과 딸 양 비앙카(Yang Bianca), 하재구 쌈지사랑규방공예연구소 대표 등 국내외 각계 인사들도 참석할 예정이다.
발표회는 1부와 2부로 나누어 진행된다.

2부(사회: 기준성 디지털서울문예대 교수)는 ▲최홍식 회장의 기조강연 「현대 음성의학과 음성학으로 풀어보는 훈민정음 제자해」 ▲홍종진 전수교육사의 발표 「세종대왕의 신악과 정간보」 ▲김슬옹 원장의 발표 「누구나 알아야 할 한글교양 14(ㄱ~ㅎ)」 ▲박현모 원장의 발표 「AI 시대, 세종에게 배울 점」으로 이어진다. 이후 질의응답 시간이 마련되며, 고정미 회장과 독일 차세대 양 비앙카가 총평을 맡는다. 폐회 인사는 이종강 세종대왕기념사업회 대외협력처장이 전한다.
제13회 발표회는 오늘날 전 세계인의 사랑을 받는 한류(K-Culture)의 핵심 기둥인 한글(훈민정음)에 담긴 애민·자주·실용 정신을 되새기고, 전 세계 116개국에서 자발적으로 운영 중인 1,450여 개 한글학교와 1만 5천여 교사들이 세종대왕의 뜻을 계승하는 자랑스러운 후예임을 널리 알리고자 한다.
아울러 지구촌한글학교미래포럼은 한글학회·세종대왕기념사업회·세종국어문화원·세종국가경영연구원 등 유관 기관과 협력하여, 전 세계 주요 한글학교 및 한글학교협의회와의 네트워크를 더욱 강화하고 동포 차세대의 민족정체성 유지와 세계시민성 함양에 앞장설 계획이다.

This presentation will be attended by Choi Hong-sik, the grandson of Oesol Choi Hyeon-bae (1894-1970), Chairman of the King Sejong Memorial Society; Kim Joo-won, President of the Korean Language Society; Lee Ki-soo, President of the Korean Law Academy; Hong Jong-jin, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage Daegeum Jeongak Instructor; Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu; Kim Seul-ong, President of the Sejong Korean Language and Culture Institute; Park Hyeon-mo, President of the Sejong Institute for National Management; and Ko Jeong-mi, President of the Waikato Korean Association in New Zealand.
Also scheduled to attend are figures from various fields, including Bae Woo-ri, President of the Korean Place Names Society; Cho Jae-cheol, former Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo; Choi Yong-gi, former Vice President of the Mongolian National University; Choi In-sook, Editor-in-Chief of the Gyeonggi Newspaper; Kim Eun-ae, former Professor at the Seoul National University Language Education Center; Park Woo-seok, Secretary of the Music Foundation for One; novelist Park Hyuk-moon; Yang Shin-young, Vice President of the German Branch of the World Korean Women's Network and her daughter Yang Bianca; and Ha Jae-gu, President of the Ssamzie Sarang Gyubang Craft Research Institute.
The presentation will be divided into two parts.
Part 1 (Moderator: Co-CEO Kim Bong-seop) will feature opening remarks by Co-CEO Park In-gi (Chairman of the Policy Advisory Committee of the Overseas Koreans Association); congratulatory remarks by Kim Joo-won, President of the Korean Language Society; encouraging remarks by District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung and Director Lee Gi-su; congratulatory poems and songs by Jeon Yeong-jun, CEO of "Haesahan" and children's book author Kang Sun-ye; and a commemorative photo session.
Part 2 (Moderator: Professor Ki-Jun Sung of Digital Seoul Arts College) will feature a keynote speech by Chairman Choi Hong-sik titled "Understanding Hunminjeongeum through Modern Phonetics and Phonetics," followed by a presentation by Instructor Hong Jong-jin titled "King Sejong's New Music and Jeongganbo," followed by a presentation by Director Kim Seul-ong titled "14 Hangeul Basics Everyone Should Know (ㄱ~ㅎ)" and followed by a presentation by Director Park Hyeon-mo titled "Learning from King Sejong in the AI Era."

It also aims to highlight the 1,450 voluntary Hangeul schools and 15,000 teachers operating in 116 countries worldwide as proud descendants of King Sejong the Great, carrying on his legacy.
Furthermore, the Global Hangeul School Future Forum plans to further strengthen its network with major Hangeul schools and Hangeul School Councils around the world in cooperation with relevant organizations such as the Korean Language Society, the King Sejong Memorial Society, the Sejong Korean Language and Culture Institute, and the Sejong Institute for National Management. It also plans to lead the way in preserving the national identity and fostering global citizenship in the next generation of Koreans.
