부평구가 30일, 제21회 지방자치경영대전에서 ‘굴포천 생태하천 복원사업’과 ‘지속가능 부평 11번가 도시재생뉴딜사업’이 지역특화자원 개발 부문 국토부 장관 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 지방자치경영대전은 행정안전부와 한국일보가 공동 주최하고 5개 중앙부처가 후원하는 전국적인 경연대회로, 지방자치단체의 창의적이고 우수한 정책을 널리 알리고 지역 발전의 성공 모델로 확산하는 것을 목표로 한다.
이번에 수상한 굴포천 생태하천 복원사업은 복개와 단절로 기능을 잃었던 굴포천을 생태 친화적인 하천으로 되살리는 대규모 환경 프로젝트다.
