대전시립연정국악단이 유럽 전역을 돌며 선보인 국악 공연이 현지 관객들의 뜨거운 호응을 이끌어냈다. 단체는 9월 21일부터 10월 2일까지 이어진 ‘2025 유럽 순회공연’을 성공적으로 마무리하며, 한국 전통음악의 격조와 현대적 감각을 아우르는 무대로 박수를 받았다.
이번 순회공연은 크로아티아 자그레브를 시작으로 보스니아 사라예보, 스웨덴 스톡홀름, 독일 프랑크푸르트와 도르트문트 등 4개국 5개 도시에서 펼쳐졌다. 각국의 공연장은 연일 만석을 기록했고, 공연이 끝날 때마다 관객들의 기립박수가 이어졌다.

전반부 공연에서는 춘앵전, 거문고산조, 호남검무, 부채춤, 판굿 등 한국 전통 가무악이 무대에 올라 현지인과 교민들에게 깊은 감동을 전했다. 반면 후반부 무대는 생황 협주곡 ‘환상적’, 창작 국악관현악 ‘꿈의 전설’, ‘아리랑 랩소디’ 등 창작 국악 작품을 중심으로 구성돼, 전통과 현대가 조화를 이루는 새로운 국악의 방향성을 보여주었다.

특히 이번 공연은 외교부 공모사업 선정과 주재국 대사관의 공식 초청을 받아 추진된 것으로, 단순한 문화공연을 넘어 국악이 한국 문화외교의 핵심 콘텐츠로 자리매김할 수 있음을 입증했다.
대전연정국악단 관계자는 “전통 국악에서 창작 국악에 이르기까지 우리 음악이 유럽 관객에게 큰 울림을 주었다”며 “앞으로도 세계 무대에서 한국의 정서와 예술성을 알리는 대표 국악단으로 성장하겠다”고 밝혔다.
