브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 인천국제공항공사의 해외사업 78건 계약 중 국내기업은 고작 1곳에 불과한 것으로 나타났다.
더불어민주당 문진석 의원이 인천국제공항공사로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면 공사의 해외사업에서 관여할 수 있는 입찰계약 78건 중 국내기업 참여는 단 1건이었다.
인천국제공항공사는 필리핀 마닐라 PPP 사업, 인니 바탐 PPP 사업 등 총 6개국에서 공항 관련 사업을 수주했다. 이 중 필리핀 마닐라, 인도네시아 바탐‧쿠웨이트 T4, 베트남에서 총 78건의 계약을 체결해 사업을 운영하고 있다.
이 중 국내기업이 낙찰된 입찰 건은 인니 바탐 PPP 사업의 사업감리 계약 단 1건(77억 원)에 불과하다. 총 계약금액 약 3235억 대비 국내기업의 계약금은 77억으로, 전체 2.3% 수준이다.
필리핀 마닐라 PPP 사업은 공사 주도로 총 74건의 계약이 체결됐지만, 국내 회사는 1개사가 3건에 입찰을 참여했을 뿐 낙찰로 이어지지는 않았다. 쿠웨이트 T4 위탁운영, 베트남 운영컨설팅도 각각 1건씩 계약이 이뤄졌지만, 모두 해외 기업이었다.
그 외 에콰도르 배후단지 개발컨설팅은 국내 1개사가 컨소시엄으로 사업에 참여 중인 것으로 나타났다.
각각의 사업마다 조 단위의 매출액이 기대되는 만큼, 인천국제공항공사가 더 적극적으로 국내기업의 참여를 유도하고, 실질적 성과를 이끌어낼 방법을 모색할 필요가 있다는 지적이다.
문 의원은 “공항공사가 사업을 수주한 것에 그치지 말고, 국내기업들이 참여할 수 있는 환경을 조성하는 것도 중요해보인다”며 “대부분의 낙찰 조건이 최저가입찰이라상대적으로 불리할 수 있는 만큼, 공사의 컨설팅과 해외진출기업에 대한 국가의 지원제도를 결합한다면 지금보다는 실적이 좋아질 수 있을 것이다”고 말했다.
