전남도는 성평등가족부가 발표한 ‘2024년 지역성평등지수’ 측정 결과, 지난 2021~2023년 기록했던 하위 등급에서 한 단계 상승한 결과를 기록했다고 밝혔다. 이는 성차별 없는 사회 구축을 위해 전남도가 추진해 온 다양한 정책들이 실질적인 지표 개선으로 이어진 결과로 풀이된다.
