서구도서관에 따르면, 고주정 작가는 인하대학교 미술교육과를 졸업하고 인천국민예술협회, 인천서예협회 이사로 활동했으며, 우주평화를 위한 국제엽서전, 터키 국제전시회, 리비아 국제교류전, 대한민국미술전람회 초대작가전 등 국내외 전시에 참여한 바 있다.
고 작가는 “먹색의 변화와 물의 번짐을 조화시켜 한글의 획으로 무한한 세계를 표현했다”며 “일반적인 캘리그라피와는 다른 현대적 감각의 작품을 선보이고 싶다”고 말했다.
전시는 정기휴관일(매주 금요일)과 법정공휴일(일요일 제외)을 제외한 도서관 이용 시간(09:00~22:00)에 관람 가능하다.
