[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 6년 연속 국가유산청 공모사업에 선정된 ‘2025년 밀양 국가유산 야행’이 오는 17일부터 19일까지 3일간 오후 6시부터 11시까지 영남루 및 관아, 밀양강 일원에서 펼쳐진다.
밀양 국가유산 야행은 국보 영남루를 중심으로 밀양관아, 밀양아리랑, 백중놀이 등 밀양의 유·무형 문화유산의 가치를 재조명하고 공유하기 위한 문화유산 활용 사업이다.
6회를 맞는 올해 행사는 17일 오후 5시에 열리는 시민의 날 거리 퍼레이드와 국가유산 야행의‘밀양부사납시오’퍼포먼스를 연계해 더욱 풍성한 볼거리를 선사할 예정이다.
또한, 18일 오후 12시 30분에는 ‘경상남도 무형유산축제’가 함께 열려 시민과 관광객이 함께 즐기는 시민과 유산이 문화·관광으로 이어지는 화합과 소통의 장이 될 것으로 기대된다.
‘밀양도호부, 응천의 밤을 밝히다’를 주제로 펼쳐지는 올해 야행은 8야(夜)(야경, 야로, 야사, 야화, 야설, 야식, 야시, 야숙)를 테마로 진행된다.
밀양강 일원에서는 옛 고기잡이 등불을 소재로 한 어화 꽃불놀이, 밤하늘을 수놓을 수상 불꽃놀이, 시민과 함께하는 밀양부사 납시오, 아랑의 전설을 재현한 실경 뮤지컬 응천 아리랑 등이 펼쳐진다.

또한 내일동 일원의 문화유산을 해설사와 함께 거닐며 체험할 수 있는 달빛기행, 문화유산 주변의 생태를 체험하는 생태기행, 시민 버스킹 공연(영남루 주차장), 먹거리 장터인 야행 주막(밀양강변) 등이 행사를 더욱 풍성하게 할 예정이다.
이외에도 한복 복식 체험, 영남루 사진전·시화전, 인물 깃발전, 천진궁 8왕조 캐릭터 체험 등이 다채롭게 열려 우리 문화유산의 이야기를 재미있고 다양한 방식으로 들려줄 예정이다.
한편, 이번 행사 기간 중 관람객의 안전과 원활한 행사 진행을 위하여 교통이 일시 통제된다.
