[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 최근 캄보디아 내 한국인 납치·감금 피해 사례가 잇따르는 가운데, 부산에서도 가족이나 지인이 캄보디아에 감금되거나 납치됐다는 의심 신고 2건이 접수돼 경찰이 확인에 나섰다.
부산경찰청은 10월초 캄보디아 현지 감금 및 납치 의심 신고 2건이 접수되어 현재 외교 당국과 협조해 이들의 소재 파악 및 범죄 연관 여부를 확인하고 있다고 14일 밝혔다.
경찰에 따르면, 50대 남성 A씨는 구직을 위해 지난 5월 중순경 베트남 등 동남아 국가로 출국한 뒤 가족과 연락이 두절됐다. 이후 이달 초 가족에게 연락을 취해 "캄보디아의 한 건물에 감금되어 있다"며 구조를 요청했고, 이에 가족이 경찰에 신고했다.
또, 지난 7월경 출국한 것으로 추정되는 20대 남성 B씨의 경우, 이달 초 지인에게 SNS(사회관계망서비스)를 통해 "캄보디아에 납치돼 있다"는 내용의 메시지를 보낸 것으로 파악됐다. B씨의 지인은 이 연락을 받고 곧바로 경찰에 신고했다.
경찰 관계자는 "현재 외교 당국과 긴밀히 협조하여 납치 의심 신고된 두 분의 정확한 소재를 파악하는 데 주력하고 있으며, 실제 범죄와 관련된 사안인지 여부도 함께 확인 중"이라고 밝혔다.
이들은 베트남 등 인접 국가로 출국한 뒤 캄보디아로 이동한 것으로 추정돼, 경찰은 이들의 정확한 출국 경위와 현지 행적을 면밀히 살피고 있다.

According to police, a man in his 50s, identified as A, left for Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries in mid-May to find a job but lost contact with his family. In early October, he reportedly contacted his family, claiming he was being held captive in a building in Cambodia and needed help, prompting his family to alert police.
In another case, a man in his 20s, identified as B, who is believed to have left Korea around July, sent a message via social media earlier this month to a friend stating that he had been kidnapped in Cambodia. The friend immediately reported the message to police.
A police official stated, “We are closely cooperating with diplomatic authorities to precisely locate the two individuals reported as possible kidnapping victims and are also working to determine whether these cases are connected to criminal activity.”
Both men are believed to have traveled to Cambodia after initially departing for neighboring countries such as Vietnam. Police are now investigating the exact circumstances of their departures and their movements abroad.
