브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT가 실시간 채널과 VOD, 글로벌 OTT를 통합 제공하는 IPTV 요금제 ‘지니 TV 디즈니+ 모든G’를 이달 17일 출시한다.
KT는 디즈니+와 전략적 제휴를 통해 글로벌 OTT와 약 16만 편의 다양한 장르 VOD를 함께 제공한다.
지니 TV 디즈니+ 모든G는 경쟁력 있는 최신 콘텐츠가 대거 포함됐다. 매주 주말 최신 영화 1편이 기본 제공되며, ‘살인자 리포트’, ‘킹 오브 킹스’ 등이 순차적으로 업데이트될 예정이다.‘배트맨 비긴즈’, ‘인터스텔라’, ‘인셉션’ 등 명작도 포함된다.
방송 콘텐츠로는 JTBC 예능 ‘최강야구2’, 드라마 ‘서울 자가에 대기업 다니는 김부장 이야기’ 등이 제공되며, ‘프렌즈’, ‘NCIS’ 같은 해외 인기 시리즈도 시청할 수 있다.
아울러 KT는 지니 TV 첫 화면에 ‘모든G 전용 메뉴’를 신설했다. 고객은 이 메뉴에서 현재 제공중인 콘텐츠를 한눈에 확인하고, 광고나 추가 결제 없이 바로 시청할 수 있다. 모바일·태블릿 기기에서도 ‘지니 TV 모바일’ 앱을 통해 동일한 서비스를 이용할 수 있다.
요금제는 총 2종으로 구성됐다. 지니 TV 모든G(1만7600원)는 250여 개 실시간 채널과 최신영화, TV 예능, 해외 시리즈 등 VOD가 제공된다. 지니 TV 디즈니+ 모든G(2만 1500원, 인터넷+IPTV 결합 및 3년 약정 기준)는 지니 TV 모든G 제공 콘텐츠에 디즈니+ 스탠다드 OTT 서비스가 추가 제공된다.
KT는 출시 기념으로 17일부터 내년 1월 31일까지 ‘지니 TV 디즈니+ 모든G’ 가입 고객에게 매월 1600원의 기본요금 할인을 제공한다. 월 1만9900원으로 모든G 제공 콘텐츠와 디즈니+를 함께 이용할 수 있으며, 요금제를 해지하기 전까지 할인 혜택이 유지된다. 또한, KT닷컴에서 온라인으로 가입한 선착순 1천 명에게 스페셜 디즈니 굿즈를 증정할 예정이다.
KT는 향후 다양한 파트너사와의 제휴를 확대해 영화, TV 드라마·예능, OTT 서비스 등의 콘텐츠 경쟁력을 강화하고 요금제 라인업을 넓혀갈 계획이다.
