대구시가 CGV대구한일부터 동성로28아트스퀘어, 구 중앙파출소까지 거리 전체를 축제 공간으로 꾸민다고 16일 밝혔다.
올해로 11번째를 맞는 대구청년주간은 '청춘진격'을 슬로건과 함께 레트로 감성을 더해 청년뿐 아니라 중장년과 노년 세대까지 함께 즐길 수 있게 꾸몄다.
동성로 메인무대에서는 청년 댄서와 보컬이 실력을 겨루는 '스트릿 배틀 & 청춘 싱어즈'가 펼쳐진다. 우승자에게는 상금과 함께 폐막식 오프닝 무대 기회가 주어진다.
18일에는 음악·공간·창업 분야 청년 활동가들이 참여하는 토크쇼가 열린다. 19일에는 청년 프리랜서 공연과 청년카니발이 동성로를 뜨겁게 달군다. 청년 댄스대회와 가요제, 달빛골든벨, 청춘 스탬프 투어, 참가 부스 시상식 등 다양한 프로그램도 준비됐다.
동성로 곳곳에는 40여 개 체험 부스가 들어선다. 속마음 전시, 24절기 콜라주 만들기, 도심 생태계 타투, 업사이클링 반지 제작, 청년정책 타임라인 전시, 프리랜서 오픈마켓, 청년체육관 등을 만날 수 있다.
개막식은 18일 오후 7시 동성로 28아트스퀘어에서 열린다. 청춘 이야기를 담은 뮤지컬 주제공연을 시작으로 공식 행사와 유공자 시상이 이어진다. 가수 이재훈의 축하공연과 레트로 나이트 댄스파티로 축제 분위기를 끌어올린다.
올해는 키오스크 체크인 시스템을 새로 선보인다. 현장 키오스크에서 QR 팔찌를 받으면 부스 참여와 이벤트 응모, 프로그램 안내를 스마트폰으로 간편하게 이용할 수 있다. 홍보 리플릿도 준비해 모든 세대가 편하게 축제를 즐기도록 했다.

This year, a new kiosk check-in system will be introduced. Daegu City became the first city in Korea to establish Youth Week in 2015. With the enactment of the Basic Youth Act in 2020, this system spread nationwide.
