전북특별자치도는 가을철 성어기를 맞아 불법 어업이 증가할 것으로 예상하고 해양수산부 서해어업관리단ㆍ군산시ㆍ고창군ㆍ부안군과 오는 31일까지 불법 어업 집중 관리 기간을 운영한다고 17일 밝혔다.
주요 단속 대상은 ▲ 어업질서 위반 ▲ 무허가ㆍ무면허 어선 불법조업 ▲ 허가 외 불법 어구 사용 ▲ 수산자원 포획ㆍ채취 금지 기간 및 체장 위반 등이다.
이번 집중 단속에 어업지도선 1척ㆍ3개 시군 지도선 3척ㆍ어업감독공무원 20여 명이 투입돼 해상과 육상에서 동시 단속이 이뤄진다.
특히 어업인의 소득 보호와 어업 질서 확립을 위해 충남과 해상 경계 수역인 군산시 개야도∼연도 해역ㆍ전남과 경계인 부안군 위도∼왕등도 해역에서 타 지자체 어선의 조업 구역을 침범한 도계 위반 행위를 정조준한다.
