【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시는 20일 더불어민주당 대구시당과 함께 제2차 예산정책당정협의회를 열고, 내년 대구시 투자사업 국비 4조3600억원 확보 방안을 논의했다.
이번 회의에는 김정기 대구시장 권한대행과 시 간부 공무원, 허소 더불어민주당 대구시당 위원장과 12개 지역위원장, 사무처장·정책실장·대변인 등 당 주요 인사가 참석했다.
이번 협의회는 지난 6월 열린 1차 회의에 이어, 2026년도 국비 예산 확보와 대구 경제 재도약을 위한 전략을 구체화하기 위한 자리다.
회의에서 시는 3년 연속 국비 8조원 이상 확보 목표를 공유하고, 추가 증액이 필요한 주요 사업에 대해 당 차원의 적극적 지원과 협조를 요청했다.
주요 국비 증액 사업은 △제조 AI 데이터 밸류 체인 구축 △디지털 트윈 3D 프린팅 의료 공동 제조소 실증 △산불방지 대책 △지하 시설물 DB 정확도 개선 △뮤지컬 콘텐츠 캠퍼스 아카데미 △대구 특화 출판 산업 육성 등이다.
민주당 대구시당은 이번 회의에서 이재명 대통령의 대구 7대 공약과 연계한 국비 확보, AI·로봇·스마트제조 등 미래 산업 기반 조성, 글로벌 문화예술도시 도약을 위한 인프라 확충, 소상공인·골목상권 중심의 생활밀착형 민생 예산 확보 등을 중점 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
허소 위원장은 “대구 경제가 오랜 침체에서 벗어나 재도약할 수 있도록 마중물 역할을 하는 예산 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”며, “대선 공약이 시민이 체감할 수 있는 정책으로 실현되도록 당과 시가 함께 책임지겠다”고 말했다.

Chairman Heo So stated, "We will do our utmost to secure a budget that will serve as a catalyst for Daegu's economic recovery from its prolonged slump. The party and the city will work together to ensure that the presidential campaign pledges are implemented into policies that citizens can feel."
