[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 20일 부산 벡스코에서 열린 ‘2025 남해안 미래비전 포럼’에서 남해안 발전의 핵심 방향으로 ‘접근성 강화, 투자 유치, 규제 완화’를 제시하며, “남해안이 진정한 해양경제 중심축으로 도약하기 위해서는 지역이 스스로 전략을 세우고 실행해야 한다”고 강조했다.
이번 포럼은 ‘해양자치분권의 시대, 남해안 지역발전을 말한다’를 주제로, 남해안의 공동 번영을 위한 발전 전략을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사에는 박완수 경남도지사, 박형준 부산시장, 김영록 전남도지사를 비롯해 방송사 대표, 경제계 대표, 유관기관장 등 250여 명이 참석했다.
이날 1부에서는 세 시·도지사가 직접 참여한 정책토크쇼가 진행됐다. 각 지역이 추진 중인 주요 정책과 현안을 중심으로 발전 방향을 공유했다.
이 자리에서 박완수 지사는 남해안 발전을 위한 세 가지 핵심 요소로 접근성 강화·투자 유치·규제 완화를 제시하며, 구체적인 실행 구상을 밝혔다.

이어 “세계적인 크루즈선이 자유롭게 남해안에 정박할 수 있도록 크루즈 접안시설을 확충하고, 목포에서 부산까지 이어지는 철도 고속화와 남부내륙철도 착공을 통해 남해안 전역의 접근성을 높이겠다”고 밝혔다.
또한 “이번에 확정된 남해안 해상국도는 부산–거제–통영–사량도–남해–여수를 잇는 상생의 대동맥으로, 관광·물류·교통을 아우르는 새로운 경제 축이 될 것”이라고 강조했다.
