세종시교육청 학교지원본부가 학생들의 안전한 통학 환경 조성을 위해 통학차량 관계자를 대상으로 한 교통안전 연수를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
학교지원본부는 22일 세종시교육청교육원 대강당에서 학교장, 통학차량 운전원, 안전요원 등 150여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025년 하반기 통학차량 관계자 교통안전 연수’를 개최했다.
이번 연수는 통학차량 운영자들의 교통안전 의식을 높이고, 사고 예방 및 대응 능력을 실질적으로 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 연수는 도로교통공단 소속 교수를 초빙해 어린이 통학버스 관련 법령 및 운영 규정 ,어린이의 특성에 맞춘 안전 운행 요령 ,운전자와 안전요원의 역할과 책임 ,사례 중심의 교통사고 예방 전략 등을 중심으로 심도 있게 진행됐다.
또한 실제 사고 사례를 중심으로 한 예방 교육과 현장에서 바로 적용 가능한 안전수칙 안내를 통해, 관계자들이 실질적인 안전관리 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 했다.
학교지원본부는 앞으로도 정기적인 안전교육과 현장 점검을 통해 학생들의 안전한 통학 환경을 지속적으로 구축해 나갈 계획이다.
