22일 오후 3시, KT 남대구지사 주차장에서는 인질극 상황을 가정한 인질 구출 및 테러범 진압 훈련과 드론 테러로 인한 화재 발생 시 대피훈련과 화재 진압, 복구 작업 등이 진행되었다.
대구시의 대표로 남구가 주관한 훈련에는 KT 남대구지사, 501여단 3대대, 대구경찰청 경찰특공대, 남부경찰서, 중부소방서, 한전 서대구지사, 중남부수도사업소 등 9개 기관이 협력했다.
특히 민방위통대장과 민방위대원들은 대피 훈련에 직접 참여해 실전 같은 경험을 쌓았다.
KT 남대구지사 직원들도 소화기를 이용해 초기 화재 진압과 환자 이송에 나섰다.
조재구 남구청장은 "이번 훈련을 통해 비상사태 시 유관기관 간의 긴밀한 협력체계를 구축하고, 신속한 사태 수습 능력을 강화할 수 있었다"며 훈련의 중요성을 강조했다.
