【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 22일과 23일 이틀간 호암예술관에서 ‘2025년 어린이 안전문화 공연(안전 뮤지컬)’을 성공리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다.
올해 안전 뮤지컬은 ‘공룡보보의 안전한 생활습관’이라는 이름으로 진행됐다.
해당 공연은 재난 및 안전 분야 취약자인 어린이의 재난 대응 능력 향상을 위해 일상생활에서 일어나는 각종 안전사고에 대처할 수 있는 방법을 알려주는 어린이 맞춤형 안전교육 뮤지컬이다.
덤벙대는 아기 공룡 ‘보보’가 일상생활 속 다양한 위험에 맞서며 엄마 공룡의 도움으로 안전수칙을 배우고 성장하는 모습을 보여주며 관람하는 어린이가 쉽게 공감할 수 있도록 했다.
또한, 화재·유괴·교통·전기 등 어린이들이 일상에서 접할 수 있는 다양한 위험 상황에서 안전 행동 요령을 쉽고 재미있게 체험하며 배울 수 있도록 구성했다.
특히, 춤과 노래, 퀴즈 등을 활용한 체험형 코너와 어린이의 눈길을 사로잡는 화려한 풍선아트가 등으로 높은 호응을 얻었다.
공연은 36개 어린이집, 유치원에서 1,200여 명이 관람해 성황을 이뤘다.
김인숙 안전총괄과장은 “어린이들은 재난 대응에 있어 취약 계층으로, 재미있게 배우고 자연스럽게 실천할 수 있는 안전 체험이 가미된 공연 및 행사 등이 절실하다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 안전 교육 프로그램을 통해 어린이 모두가 안전한 충주가 되도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
