배우와 감독들이 함께한 레드카펫 행사를 시작으로 닷새간의 영화 축제가 본격적으로 펼쳐졌다.
남도영화제는 2년마다 전라남도 22개 시군을 순회하며 열리는 지역 대표 로컬 영화제로, 2023년 순천에서 시즌1을 개최한 데 이어 올해는 전남도와 광양시가 공동 주최하고 (사)전남영상위원회가 주관하여 두 번째를 맞이했다.
