파주시 교하도서관은 오는 25일부터 26일까지 파주출판도시에서 열리는 2025 파주페어 북앤컬쳐 행사에 참여해 ‘디엠제트(DMZ) 식물·곤충·사과’를 주제로 한 사람책 강연과 체험 프로그램을 운영한다.

25일에는 디엠제트 자생식물을 소개하는 ‘흔한 식물이 되고 싶어’(이재석 작가) 프로그램이 열리며, 오전 10시 30분부터 12시까지 자생식물 화분 만들기 체험 수업이 진행되며 같은 날 오후 2시 30분부터 4시까지는 성인을 대상으로 ‘디엠제트에 살고 있어요’ 강연이 열린다.
이 강연에서는 디엠지생물다양성연구소 정명희 소장이 생태 환경 전문가로 활동하게 된 과정과 현장의 생생한 이야기를 들려준다. 이어 오후 4시부터는 디엠제트 곤충 전시와 함께 이탁기 박사의 도슨트 프로그램이 운영된다.
26일에는 한반도의 기후 위기를 디엠제트 사과밭 영상으로 표현한 다큐멘터리 ‘마지막 사과나무’ 상영이 진행되며, 이후 권우정 감독과의 만남이 오후 2시 30분부터 4시까지 이어진다.
또한 오후 4시부터 5시 30분까지는 민통선의 소리를 시각적으로 표현한 ‘평화의 소리를 그려요’ 프로그램이 정운 시각 예술가의 진행으로 마련된다. 행사 기간 동안 디엠제트에서 수확한 사과 판매 공간도 함께 운영된다.
