[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도(도지사 김동연)와 양주시(시장 강수현), 지상작전사령부(사령관 대장 주성운)가 오는 31일부터 11월 2일까지 3일간 가납리비행장 일원에서 「2025 경기ㆍ양주ㆍ지작사 드론봇 페스티벌」을 개최한다.
올해로 5회째를 맞는 드론봇 페스티벌은 육군의 첨단 드론봇·유무인 복합 전투체계의 비전을 국민에게 선보이고, 민·관·군이 상생 협력하여 대한민국 드론 산업의 발전을 도모하는 경기북부 최대 규모의 드론 축제이다.
올해는 경기도가 공동주최하고 주한미군이 함께해 규모와 의미를 더했다. 현대전의 핵심으로 떠오른 드론과 로봇의 실체를 국민들이 직접 체험하게 함으로써 첨단과학기술군에 대한 신뢰를 높이는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
축제는 오는 31일 개막식을 시작으로 ▲드론봇 전투체계 시연, ▲군(軍) 시범 및 축하비행, ▲모터사이클 퍼레이드, ▲첨단장비 전시 및 체험, ▲경연대회, ▲발전 세미나 등이 3일간 펼쳐진다.
