【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구청이 오는 11월 1일 율하체육공원에서 '제14회 동구 복지한마당'을 개최한다.
이번 행사는 '연결과 돌봄, 함께하는 행복 동구'를 주제로, 동구지역사회보장협의체와 동구사회복지협의회가 함께 주최·주관한다.
이번 복지한마당에는 동구 지역 내 사회보장 관련 시설과 단체, 공공기관 등 80여 개 기관 종사자와 주민 약 4천 명이 참여할 것으로 보인다.
행사 당일 오전 10시 개회식을 시작으로 사회복지 기여자 표창, 장애 극복상 시상, 복지 관련 퍼포먼스 등이 이어진다. 다양한 체험·학습·나눔 부스 57곳도 운영돼 다양한 볼거리와 체험 기회를 제공할 예정이다.
행사장에서는 클래식과 재즈 콰르텟, 전자현악 등으로 구성된 '가을 음악회'가 열리며, 지역 청소년들로 이뤄진 '청소년 아름드리공연단'이 연극, 댄스, 밴드 등 다채로운 무대도 선보인다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “이번 복지한마당이 주민과 사회복지 기관이 소통하는 장이 되어, 지역사회에 따뜻한 돌봄과 나눔의 문화가 확산되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

Daegu Dong-gu Office will host the 14th Dong-gu Welfare Festival at Yulha Sports Park on November 1st.
Under the theme of "Connection and Care, a Happy Dong-gu Together," this event is co-hosted and organized by the Dong-gu Community Security Council and the Dong-gu Social Welfare Council.
Approximately 4,000 residents and staff from approximately 80 social security-related facilities, organizations, and public institutions in Dong-gu are expected to participate in this year's Welfare Festival. The event will begin with an opening ceremony at 10:00 AM, followed by awards for social welfare contributors, the Overcoming Disability Award ceremony, and welfare-related performances. Fifty-seven booths offering diverse experiences, learning, and sharing opportunities will also be set up, offering a variety of attractions and opportunities to explore.
The event will also feature an "Autumn Concert," featuring classical music, a jazz quartet, and electronic strings. The "Youth Arumdri Performance Group," comprised of local youth, will also present a variety of performances, including plays, dance, and bands.
Dong-gu District Mayor Yoon Seok-jun said, “I hope that this welfare festival will serve as a platform for communication between residents and social welfare organizations, and that a culture of warm care and sharing will spread throughout the local community.”
