지난 24일부터 사흘간 열린 제27회 단양온달문화축제가 열정과 감동 속에 성황리에 막을 내렸다.
올해 축제는 ‘온달, 고구려를 품다!’를 슬로건으로 내걸고, 단순한 공연 중심의 행사에서 벗어나 관람객이 직접 배우가 되는 몰입형 역사축제로 새롭게 거듭났다.
특히 온달관광지와 단양 시내 전역을 아우른 ‘온달평강 승전행렬’은 거리 전체를 거대한 야외 연극무대로 탈바꿈시켜 시민과 관광객 모두를 고구려의 시간 속으로 이끌었다.
붉은 삼족오 깃발이 나부끼는 길 위로 고구려 군사와 백성, 왕과 왕비의 행렬이 이어졌고, 전통복식으로 갈아입은 관람객들이 자발적으로 퍼레이드에 합류하며 ‘모두가 주인공이 되는 축제’라는 찬사를 받았다.
