[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국내 최대 규모의 수산 전문 전시회인 ‘2025 부산국제수산엑스포(BISFE 2025)’가 오는 5일부터 7일까지 벡스코 제1전시장에서 열린다.
올해 행사에는 29개국 460개 기업이 참가해 1,200개 홍보 부스를 운영한다. 에콰도르, 그리스, 튀니지 등 7개국이 올해 처음 합류하며, 수산식품부터 첨단 기자재, 양식기술, 연구·정책까지 수산업 전반을 아우르는 전시가 펼쳐질 예정이다.
해외 바이어 초청 무역상담회, 대·중소기업 매칭데이, 글로벌 비즈니스 상담회 등 다양한 기업 간 교류 프로그램이 마련됐다. 또, 참가기업 실질적 비즈니스 성과 창출을 위한 네트워킹 행사도 확대된다.
행사 기간 중에는 ▲수산식품관 ▲수산기자재 및 스마트양식관 ▲창업투자지원관 ▲특별관 등 다양한 주제별 전시와 함께, 부산수산정책포럼·국제학술대회 등 학술행사, 수중 정원 예술대회, 시민 참여형 이벤트 등이 진행된다.

일반 시민이 직접 참여할 수 있는 수산물 시식행사와 할인쿠폰 이벤트 등 소비자 프로그램도 대폭 강화됐다. 부산국제수산엑스포는 2008년 세계전시산업협회(UFI) 인증을 받은 바 있으며, 산업통상자원부 지정 유망전시회(2008~2020년), 지역 글로벌톱전시회(2022~2025년)로 선정됐다.
박형준 부산시장은 “수산산업의 지속 성장과 국제 교류 확대에 기여하는 이번 행사가 국내외 참가업체와 시민 모두에게 의미 있는 자리가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

The 23rd Busan International Seafood Expo (BISFE 2025), Korea’s largest seafood industry trade show, will run from November 5 to 7 at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, organizers announced Monday.
This year’s event brings together 460 enterprises from 29 countries, operating 1,200 booths that spotlight the full spectrum of the seafood industry, from processed products and advanced equipment to aquaculture technology and policy research.
Seven countries—including Ecuador, Greece, and Tunisia—will debut at this year’s expo, offering visitors a glimpse of the latest global seafood trends. Programs such as trade meetings with overseas buyers, matching sessions for large and small enterprises, and global business consultations have been significantly expanded to support industry collaboration and practical business outcomes.
The exhibition is divided into sections including the Seafood Products Hall, Equipment and Smart Aquaculture Hall, Venture Investment Zone, and Special Hall.
These showcase innovations ranging from processed foods and health products to high-tech machinery, new materials, and premium seafood items. Side events include academic forums, networking receptions, an aquascape garden contest, and citizen participation programs such as tastings and coupon promotions designed to engage local consumers.
Recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) since 2008, BISFE has also been selected as a leading trade show by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (2008-2020) and designated as a regional global top exhibition from 2022 through 2025.
Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon said, “This year’s expo is expected to invigorate the seafood industry and expand international exchanges, bringing real benefits and enjoyment to both participating companies and citizens.”
