【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원이 다음 달 7일 오후 2시 대구 그랜드호텔 2층 다이너스티A홀에서 ‘시민이 행복한 대구평생교육 지속가능 모델’을 주제로 ‘제2차 대구 평생교육 포럼’을 연다.
이번 포럼은 지역 평생교육의 현황을 점검하고 시민들이 직접 체감할 수 있는 행복 중심의 평생학습도시를 만들기 위한 지속가능한 발전 모델을 논의할 목적으로 마련됐다. 행사에는 대구시와 교육청, 구·군, 평생교육기관 관계자, 시민 등 약 130명이 참석할 예정이다.
이날 기조강연은 이광우 대구대학교 교수가 맡는다. 이 교수는 ‘삶과 지역을 풍요롭게 하는 대구 맞춤형 평생교육’을 주제로, 지역 특성에 맞춘 학습생태계 조성 방향을 제시할 계획이다.
주제발표에서는 이준엽 아주대학교 교수가 ‘지식보다 태도: 평생학습으로서의 금융 이해’를, 이희승 이화여자대학교 교수가 ‘공연예술, 평생교육 옷을 입다: 대구형 모델 고찰’을 각각 발표한다.
이어지는 종합토론에서는 우성진 대구과학대학교 교수가 좌장을 맡으며, 이미나 라인교육개발 본부장, 구민재 마산대학교 평생교육원장, 이수성 대구과학대학교 겸임교수 등이 토론자로 참여해 지역 평생교육의 질적 성장과 지속가능한 학습 환경 조성 방안에 대해 다양한 의견을 나눌 예정이다.
배기철 대구행복진흥원 이사장은 “이번 포럼을 통해 대구형 평생교육의 지속가능한 발전 방향을 함께 고민하고, 시민 모두가 일상 속에서 학습의 기쁨을 누릴 수 있는 환경을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.

The following general discussion will be moderated by Professor Woo Sung-jin of Daegu Science University. Discussants include Lee Mi-na, Director of the Line Education Development Headquarters, Koo Min-jae, Director of the Masan University Lifelong Education Center, and Lee Soo-seong, Adjunct Professor at Daegu Science University. They will share diverse perspectives on how to foster qualitative growth in local lifelong education and create a sustainable learning environment.
Bae Ki-cheol, Chairman of the Daegu Happiness Promotion Agency, stated, "Through this forum, we will explore the sustainable development of Daegu-style lifelong education and create an environment where all citizens can enjoy the joy of learning in their daily lives."
