【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교가 학생들의 학습 역량 강화를 위해 마련한 ‘학습 페스티벌’이 큰 호응 속에 마무리됐다.
이번 행사는 교육혁신지원센터 주관으로 '배우고, 나누고, 성장하는 캠퍼스'를 주제로 지난 9월 20일부터 한 달간 진행됐다.
페스티벌에서는 수업수기 공모전, 학습포트폴리오 공모전, 학습컨설팅, 현장 참여형 학습 이벤트 등이 다채롭게 펼쳐져 학생들에게 학습을 되돌아보고 새로운 동기를 얻는 기회를 제공했다.
특히 지난달 20일부터 31일까지 이어진 ‘현장 참여형 학습이벤트(부제: 다 이루어질지니)’는 축제의 하이라이트로, 내·외국인 재학생 400여 명이 함께해 뜨거운 열기를 더했다.
학생들은 현장에서 학습유형검사를 통해 자신의 학습 스타일을 점검하고, 미니게임과 퀴즈 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여하며 학업 스트레스를 해소했다.
튀르키예 출신 유학생 피르 수미(34) 씨는 “처음엔 지루할 줄 알았는데 직접 참여해보니 너무 재미있었다. 내 학습 스타일도 새롭게 알게 됐고, 대학 생활의 좋은 추억이 될 것 같다”고 소감을 전했다.
수업수기 및 학습포트폴리오 공모전을 통해서는 학생들이 자신만의 학습법과 성과를 공유하는 자리가 마련됐다. 시상식은 오는 14일 열리며, 우수 참가자에게는 아이패드 등 총 200만 원 상당의 상품이 주어진다.
이경희 교육혁신지원센터장은 “이번 페스티벌은 학생들이 자신의 학습 방법을 되돌아보고, 스스로 동기를 높이는 계기가 되길 바라는 마음에서 기획했다”며 “앞으로도 학생 주도의 배움과 성장이 이뤄질 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Pir Sumi (34), an international student from Turkey, said, "At first, I thought it would be boring, but I found it incredibly fun. I learned a new way to learn, and I think it will be a great memory of my college life."
The class essay and learning portfolio contest provided an opportunity for students to share their unique learning methods and achievements. The awards ceremony will be held on the 14th, and the top participants will receive prizes worth a total of 2 million won, including iPads.
Lee Kyung-hee, Director of the Education Innovation Support Center, stated, "We planned this festival with the hope that it will provide an opportunity for students to reflect on their own learning methods and boost their own motivation. We will continue to expand various programs that foster student-led learning and growth."
