【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대경대학교 연기예술과와 충청대학교 방송광고제작과(학과장 김성천)가 전공 협업을 통해 단편영화 5편을 공동 제작했다.
두 대학은 4일 올해 1년간 함께 이뤄낸 협업 프로젝트의 성과를 알리는 공동 예고편을 공개하고, 완성된 작품들을 국내외 영화제에 연이어 출품한다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로젝트에서는 대경대 연기예술과 학생들이 배우와 프로듀서 역할을, 충청대 방송광고제작과 학생들이 촬영과 편집을 각각 맡아 전 과정에서 손발을 맞췄다. 학생들은 프리 프로덕션과 리허설, 촬영, 후반 작업 등 영화 제작의 모든 단계를 직접 경험하며 실무 중심 교육을 받았다.
출품작은 ‘Sub Character’, ‘To GetHer’, ‘궐기’, ‘GO_ON’, ‘얼룩’ 등 총 5편이다. 각 작품은 앞으로 각종 국내외 영화제를 통해 순차적으로 공개될 예정이다.
이정민 대경대 연기예술과 교수는 “학생들이 실제 영화 제작 전 과정을 체험하며 전공의 실질적인 역량을 키울 수 있었던 의미 깊은 시도였다”며 “양 대학이 협업해 만든 영상미와 연기력이 영화제에서도 좋은 평가를 받길 기대한다”고 말했다.
김정근 연기예술과 교수 역시 “앞으로 연극뿐 아니라 영상 콘텐츠 제작 교육을 확대하고, 단편영화ㆍ웹드라마 등 실무 중심 프로젝트를 더 활발히 추진할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
이번 작품의 예고편을 관람한 김성현 미디어 씨팀 감독은 “학생 작품이라고는 믿기 힘들 정도로 영상의 질감과 스토리 구성이 뛰어나다”며 “영화적 완성도가 상당하다”고 호평했다.
김건표 대경대 교수는 “연기예술과는 이미 연극과 뮤지컬 분야에서 우수한 성과를 내고 있다”며 “앞으로 영화와 드라마 등 영상매체 영역으로도 교육을 확장해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Department of Acting at Daekyung University and the Department of Broadcasting and Advertising Production at Chungcheong University (Department Head Kim Seong-cheon) have collaborated on five short films.
On the 4th, the two universities released a joint trailer highlighting the achievements of this year's collaborative project and announced that the completed films will be submitted to film festivals both domestically and internationally.
For this project, students from the Department of Acting at Daekyung University served as actors and producers, while students from the Department of Broadcasting and Advertising Production at Chungcheong University handled filming and editing, collaborating throughout the entire process. The students received hands-on, hands-on training, experiencing all stages of film production, including pre-production, rehearsal, filming, and post-production.
The five films submitted include "Sub Character," "To GetHer," "Uprising," "GO_ON," and "Stain." Each film will be screened sequentially at various domestic and international film festivals.
Professor Lee Jeong-min of the Department of Acting at Daekyung University said, "This was a meaningful initiative that allowed students to experience the entire film production process and develop their practical skills. I hope the visual beauty and acting skills created through collaboration between our two universities will be well-received at the film festival."
Professor Kim Jeong-geun of the Department of Acting also stated, "We plan to expand our education beyond theater to video content production and actively pursue practical projects such as short films and web dramas."
Director Kim Seong-hyeon of Media C-Team, who watched the trailer for this film, praised it, saying, "It's hard to believe it's a student production; the visual texture and storytelling are exceptional. The film's level of completion is remarkable."
Professor Kim Geon-pyo of Daekyung University stated, "The Department of Acting has already achieved outstanding results in theater and musicals. We will continue to expand our education to include film, drama, and other visual media."
