【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청은 지난 1일 삼성창조캠퍼스 야외공연장에서 ‘2025 북구 평생학습 페스티벌’과 연계해 ‘제2회 우리북구 지식왕’ 골든벨 대회를 열었다.
‘우리북구 지식왕’ 골든벨은 북구 내 초등학교 3학년 학생을 대상으로, 해마다 발간되는 ‘우리북구’ 책자 내용을 토대로 다양한 퀴즈가 출제되는 행사다.
어린이들이 놀이와 공부를 접목해 지역의 역사와 문화, 행정 정책을 자연스럽게 익힐 수 있도록 마련된 참여형 학습 프로그램으로, 자리매김하고 있다.
올해는 초등학생 40여 명이 참가해 치열한 경쟁을 펼쳤다. 이날 1등인 북구청장상은 침산초 3학년 강민준 학생이 차지했다. 2등과 3등인 서부교육지원청 교육장상은 각각 복현초 3학년 이정민 학생과 칠성초 3학년 조연호 학생에게 돌아갔다.
현장에서는 학부모들을 위한 즉석 퀴즈 이벤트도 열려 큰 호응을 얻었다.
배광식 북구청장은 “아이들이 즐겁게 지역을 배우며 자긍심을 느끼는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”며 “앞으로도 세대가 함께 성장할 수 있는 평생학습 환경을 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Designed to integrate play and learning, this interactive learning program has established itself as a natural learning experience for children, allowing them to naturally learn about local history, culture, and administrative policies.
This year, approximately 40 elementary school students participated in a fierce competition. The first place winner, the Buk-gu Mayor's Award, went to Kang Min-jun, a third-grader from Chimsan Elementary School. The second and third place winners, the Seobu Office of Education Superintendent's Award, went to Lee Jeong-min, a third-grader from Bokhyeon Elementary School, and Jo Yeon-ho, a third-grader from Chilseong Elementary School, respectively.
An impromptu quiz event for parents was also held on-site, drawing a huge response.
Buk-gu District Mayor Bae Gwang-sik said, "It was a meaningful time for children to enjoy learning about their local community and feel a sense of pride. We will continue to expand lifelong learning environments where generations can grow together."
