세종시가 전국 창업 네트워크를 한자리에 모으는 ‘2025 창업한마당(COMEUP in 세종)’을 6일부터 7일까지 집현동 세종공동캠퍼스 학술문화지원센터에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 세종시를 인공지능(AI) 융합 기반의 거브테크(Gov-Tech) 창업 중심도시로 도약시키기 위한 전국 규모 창업 축제로, 전국 코리아스타트업포럼 회원사 및 유관기관 관계자, 세종시 안팎의 창업기업 등 150여 명이 참석한다.
‘인공지능(AI) 시대 거브테크 창업 중심도시 세종’을 주제로 열리는 이번 행사는 세종시, 세종창조경제혁신센터, 코리아스타트업포럼이 공동으로 주최·주관한다. 정부와 국책연구기관이 밀집한 도시의 특성과 스마트시티 인프라를 바탕으로 공공데이터를 활용한 혁신 창업 모델 확산에 방점이 찍혀 있다.
첫날 개회식에서는 세종시, 코리아스타트업포럼, 세종상공회의소가 세종 창업·벤처 생태계 조성 및 발전을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결한다. 이번 협약은 민관이 협력해 지역 창업기업 발굴과 육성, 기반시설 확충, 개방형 혁신 모델 구축을 추진하기 위한 출발점으로 평가된다.
또한 세종시와 협업을 희망하는 부스터랩(서울), 스카이큐브(부산), 마엇(창원), 윌체어(부산), 도도한콜라보(서울) 등 5개 유망기업과의 협약도 진행된다. 세종시는 이들 기업과 함께 창업지원, 혁신정책 연계, 글로벌 시장 진출 등 다양한 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
행사 둘째 날에는 창업가 교류 프로그램과 힐링 세션, ‘Vibe Coding’ 체험형 워크숍, 스타트업 간 토론 및 투자 설명회, 대·중견기업의 협업제안 발표 등이 이어진다. 이 밖에도 행사 기간 10여 개 우수 창업기업이 전시 부스를 운영하며 최신 기술과 제품을 선보인다.
최민호 세종특별자치시장은 “행정수도로서 세종이 첨단 창업의 중심지로 성장하고 있다”며 “공공데이터와 혁신 기술이 결합한 거브테크 창업을 적극 지원해 창조와 도전이 활력 넘치는 혁신경제 도시 세종을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.

Sejong City announced that it will host the '2025 Startup Festival (COMEUP in Sejong),' which will bring together a nationwide startup network, from the 6th to the 7th at the Academic and Cultural Support Center of the Sejong Joint Campus in Jiphyeon-dong.
This nationwide startup festival aims to transform Sejong City into a hub for GovTech startups based on artificial intelligence (AI). Approximately 150 participants will attend, including Korea Startup Forum members, officials from related organizations, and startups from within and outside Sejong City.
Themed "Sejong: A Hub for GovTech Startups in the AI Era," this event is jointly hosted and organized by Sejong City, the Sejong Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, and the Korea Startup Forum. This agreement is seen as a starting point for public-private collaboration to discover and nurture local startups, expand infrastructure, and establish an open innovation model.

Additionally, approximately 10 outstanding startups will operate exhibition booths throughout the event, showcasing their latest technologies and products.
