2023년에 시작된 *굿윌 우먼스 클럽(Goodwill Women’s Club)*은
지금까지 두 번의 바자회, 한 번의 패션쇼, 그리고 개인 전시회를 열었으며,
이번 11월 양일간 열리는 페스티벌로 한 해를 마무리한다.
내년 5월이면 창립 2주년을 맞이하게 된다.
회비도, 정기 모임도 없지만,
우리 클럽은 지금까지 총 4,000유로를 기부했으며
학교, 홈케어 센터, 가톨릭 교회 등에서
**오리가미(종이접기)**를 가르치고 있다.
이러한 성과는 결코 쉬운 일이 아니었다.
모든 제반 비용을 내가 감당한 덕분에
단 한 번의 문제 없이 모든 활동을 마무리할 수 있었다.
매년 여름 2개월, 겨울 2개월은 휴식기를 가지며,
클럽 활동은 내년 2월에 다시 시작된다.
나는 그동안 돈 문제로 분쟁이 생긴 여러 모임들을 보아왔다.
그러나 우리 클럽은 단순하지만 임팩트 있는 운영으로 그러한 문제를 피해왔다.
회원 수는 많지만 모두 각자의 자리에서 봉사에 참여하고 있다.
때로는 어깨가 무겁고 책임감도 크지만,
이처럼 발전하고 전진하는 클럽은 분명 타의 모범이 되리라 믿는다.
오늘은 봉사에 참여한 모든 회원에게 소정의 선물과 다과를
전하며 감사의 마음을 나누는 뜻깊은 날이다.
Founded in 2023,
the Goodwill Women’s Club has successfully held two bazaars,
one fashion show, and a private exhibition,
and will conclude this year with a two-day festival in November.
In May next year, we will celebrate our second anniversary.
Although we have no membership fees and no regular meetings,
our club has donated 4,000 euros so far
and continues to teach
origami at schools, home care centers, and Catholic churches.
These achievements were not easy to accomplish.
Since I personally covered all related expenses,
our activities have proceeded smoothly without any issues.
We take a two-month break in summer and another in winter,
resuming our activities in February each year.
I have seen many clubs struggle with financial disputes or internal conflicts,
but ours remains simple yet impactful — free from such problems.
Our members, though many, contribute in their own ways through volunteer work.
While the responsibility I bear is heavy,
I truly believe that a club growing and progressing like ours will serve as a model for others.
Today, we celebrate by offering small gifts and refreshments to
all who have given their time and hearts in service.
2023年に設立されたグッドウィル・ウィメンズ・クラブ
（Goodwill Women’s Club）は、これまでに2回のバザー、
1回のファッションショー、個人展を開催し、
今年11月の2日間のフェスティバルで一年を締めくくります。
来年5月には創立2周年を迎えます。
会費も定例会もありませんが、これまでに4,000ユーロを寄付し、
学校やホームケアセンター、カトリック教会などで折り紙を教えています。
これらの成果は決して容易なものではありませんでした。
すべての経費を私自身が負担したおかげで、
問題なく活動を続けることができました。
毎年、夏2か月・冬2か月は休息期間を設け、
活動は来年2月に再開します。これまで、
多くのクラブが金銭問題や会合による対立で困難を抱えるのを見てきました。
しかし、私たちのクラブはシンプルでありながらインパクトのある運営を通じて、
そのような問題を避けてきました。
メンバーは多く、頻繁に集まることはなくても、
それぞれが自分の場所で奉仕活動に参加しています。
責任の重さを感じることもありますが、
このように発展し前進するクラブは、
きっと他の模範となると信じています。
今日は、奉仕してくださったすべての方々に
ささやかなプレゼントとお菓子を贈り、
感謝の気持ちを分かち合う特別な日です。
