10일 경북교육청은 교육공동체 대상 연수 수요가 계속 늘어남에 따라, 교육과정 부장과 진로진학상담 부장 등 현장 경험이 풍부한 고등학교 교사를 연수 강사로 활용해 맞춤형 연수를 진행할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
현직 교사들이 중심이 된 이번 인력풀은 온·오프라인 연수를 병행해 학교별 요구에 따른 정보를 제공하게 된다.
경북교육청은 지난 4일 도내 각급 학교에 ‘연수 강사 인력풀’ 구성 계획을 안내했으며, 신청은 18일까지 받는다. 이후 심사 절차를 거쳐 11월 말까지 시·군 교육지원청과 각 중·고교에 명단을 공유할 예정이다.
이를 통해 학교 현장에서 자체적으로 진행하는 연수에 인력풀이 적극 활용될 전망이다.
교육청은 이번 인력풀 구축을 통해 학년말 학교별 학점제 연수를 집중 지원하는 한편, 교원의 역량 강화와 현장 운영 기반 안정화에 힘쓸 방침이다.
앞서 지난 10월에는 도내 128개 고등학교를 대상으로 자체 점검과 현장 컨설팅을 실시했다. 또 내년도 선택과목 강사 채용 예산도 확보 중이다.
임종식 경북교육감은 “학점제 도입 이후 연수와 자료 요청이 크게 늘어나고 있다”며 “교육청이 학교 현장을 직접 지원하는 데 중점을 두고, 모든 학생이 자신의 진로와 속도에 맞춰 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 계속 확대해나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
