전북 군산해양경찰서는 오는 12월 5일까지 바다를 통해 수입되는 농ㆍ수산물의 적법 유통 및 원산지 관련 특별단속 기간으로 설정하고 전담반을 편성해 운영할 방침이라고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 단속은 김장철을 맞아 늘어난 수요가 가격상승으로 이어지고 있는 천일염과 젓갈ㆍ고춧가루ㆍ배추 등에 대한 유통 질서 확립 및 안전한 먹거리 제공을 위해 기획됐다.
해경은 이번 단속에서 전통시장은 물론 대형마트와 홈쇼핑ㆍ통신판매업체 등도 점검할 방침이다.
특히, 관내에 영업점을 둔 중ㆍ소규모 수산물 가공업체의 적법 판매 여부와 무자료 거래 등을 꼼꼼하게 살펴본다는 계획이다.
