[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산영상위원회가 기장군과 지난 10일 ‘기장군 지역상생형 영화·드라마 로케이션 인센티브 지원사업’ 위탁운영 계약을 체결했다. 이번 협약은 지역 로케이션 촬영을 활성화하고, 영상산업과 지역경제가 동반 성장할 수 있는 기반을 마련하기 위한 것이다.
기장군, 392편 촬영된 대표 로케이션 명소
이번 사업은 지난 9월 기장군의 공모에 따른 위탁운영 기관 선정 결과로 부산영상위원회가 최종 수탁기관으로 선정되며 추진된다. 부산영상위원회는 앞으로 2년간 기장군 관내에서 촬영하는 영화·드라마 제작사를 대상으로 로케이션 인센티브 사업을 운영할 예정이다.
기장군은 영화 <야당>(2025), <파묘>(2024), <서울의 봄>(2023), <헤어질 결심>(2022) 등 다수의 흥행작을 비롯해 2000년 이후 총 392편의 영화·영상물이 촬영된 대표적 촬영지다. 아홉산숲, 용소웰빙공원, 서부리 근대가옥, 아난티 코브 등 천혜의 자연환경과 탄탄한 인프라를 갖춰 영화·드라마 제작사들의 선호도가 높다.
지역상생형 인센티브 모델 구축 추진
부산영상위원회는 기장군의 풍부한 로케이션 자원에 위원회의 지원사업 운영 노하우를 결합해, 기장을 보다 매력적인 촬영지로 발전시킬 계획이다.
본 사업은 2026년 1월 공고를 통해 본격 추진되며, 위원회는 숙박비·식비·장소사용료 등 제작팀의 현지 소비가 기장군 소상공인과 연계될 수 있는 실질적인 지역 상생형 인센티브 모델을 구축할 예정이다.
부산지역 영상산업 협력 체계 강화
또한 부산영상위원회는 이번 사업을 계기로 부산 지역 자치구와의 협력체계를 한층 고도화하고, 지역 영상산업과 경제의 동반 성장 기반을 확충해 나간다는 방침이다.
위원회는 2020년 중구와 ‘웹드라마 제작지원사업’ 협약을 통해 산복도로를 배경으로 한 <청춘포차>를 제작 지원했으며, 2023년 수영구와의 협약으로 남천동 빵집 골목을 무대로 한 웹드라마 <슈가 블루스>를 지원한 바 있다.

The Busan Film Commission has signed an agreement with Gijang County to run a new location incentive program designed to attract film and drama shoots to the area and strengthen the local economy.
Under the deal signed on November 10, the commission will oversee the “Gijang County Regional Co-Prosperity Film and Drama Location Incentive Program,” which aims to link on-location production spending with local businesses. The program will operate for two years, providing support for production teams that choose Gijang as a filming site.
Gijang County has long been one of South Korea’s most active filming locations. Since 2000, the area has hosted production for 392 films and television projects, including *Yadang* (2025), *Exhuma* (2024), *12.12: The Day* (2023), and *Decision to Leave* (2022). Its scenic landscapes—such as Ahopsan Forest, Yongso Well-being Park, Seoburi Modern Houses, and Ananti Cove—have made it a favorite among location scouts and filmmakers.
The new program, scheduled to launch in January 2026, will provide incentives designed to keep production-related expenditures—such as lodging, meals, and location fees—within Gijang’s local economy. The commission said it intends to develop the scheme into a model for sustainable collaboration between film producers and small businesses.
The Busan Film Commission also plans to use the initiative as a platform to strengthen its cooperation with other districts in Busan. In 2020, the commission partnered with Jung District to support the web drama *Youth Pocha* set along hillside roads, and in 2023 worked with Suyeong District on *Sugar Blues*, a web series filmed in Namcheon-dong’s bakery alley.
