대구시교육청, 유·초 연계 ‘놀이로 잇-다’ 운영

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 12일 군위군 생활체육공원에서 ‘2025 유·초 연계 교육 놀이로 잇-다’ 프로그램을 진행했다. 

이번 행사에는 대구군위초등학교 병설유치원 유아와 대구군위초등학교 1~2학년 학생 등 90명이 참여해 자연 속에서 다양한 체험 놀이를 함께 즐겼다.

이 프로그램은 유치원과 초등학교 교육과정의 연계를 강화하고, 지역 학생들에게 자연에서 함께 배우며 자랄 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 마련됐다.

활동은 ‘유·초 자연놀이 이음 한마당’, ‘유·초 협력놀이 이음 한마당’, ‘도란도란 소통의 시간’ 등 세 가지로 나누어 진행됐다. 

학생들은 숲밧줄 놀이, 협력 이어달리기, 지구공 굴리기 등 신체활동과 협력 게임을 통해 공동체 의식과 문제 해결력, 신체 활용 능력을 키웠다.

특히 ‘도란도란 소통의 시간’에서는 유치원과 학교 생활을 주제로 각자의 경험을 나누면서 초등학교 적응에 필요한 공감과 유대감을 쌓는 시간을 가졌다.

강은희 대구시교육감은 “이번 프로그램은 유아와 초등학생이 함께 배우며 정서적으로 연결되는 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 지역의 특색을 살린 다양한 연계 교육활동을 확대해 아이들이 행복하게 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

On the 12th, the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education hosted the "2025 Connected Kindergarten and Elementary School Educational Play" program at the Gunwi County Sports Park.

Ninety participants, including children from the attached kindergarten of Daegu Gunwi Elementary School and first and second graders from Daegu Gunwi Elementary School, participated in various experiential play activities in nature.

This program was designed to strengthen the connection between kindergarten and elementary school curricula and provide local students with opportunities to learn and grow together in nature.

The activities were divided into three parts: "Connecting Kindergarten and Elementary School Nature Play," "Connecting Kindergarten and Elementary School Cooperative Play," and "Time for Inspiring Communication."

Students developed a sense of community, problem-solving skills, and physical literacy through physical activities and cooperative games, such as forest rope play, cooperative relay races, and earth ball rolling.

In particular, "Time for Inspiring Communication" provided opportunities for participants to share their experiences with kindergarten and school life, building empathy and bonds essential for adjusting to elementary school. Daegu Metropolitan Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee stated, "This program was a meaningful opportunity for preschool and elementary school students to learn together and connect emotionally. We will continue to actively support children's happy growth by expanding diverse, regionally-focused educational activities."
