원광대학교병원이 보건복지부가 주최하고 국립중앙의료원과 중앙응급의료센터가 주관한 '2025년 재난응급의료 종합훈련대회' 술기 부문에 참가해 국립중앙의료원장(우수) 상(賞)을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
실전형 종합훈련대회는 1박 2일 일정으로 다수 사상자가 발생한 가상 시나리오를 설정, 현장 협업 체계 강화를 위해 매년 지역을 대표하는 기관들이 모여 술기ㆍ도상 훈련을 평가한다.
올해로 8회째를 맞은 이번 대회는 재난 발생 시 응급의료기관ㆍ보건소ㆍ소방 등 유관 기관 간 협업 체계 강화와 현장 대응 역량을 점검하기 위한 전국 단위 종합 훈련으로 진행됐다.
대회에는 전국 15개 시ㆍ도(울산ㆍ세종 제외)가 참가했으며 ▲ 시ㆍ도별 보건소 신속대응반(4명) ▲ 재난 거점병원 재난의료지원팀(4명) ▲ 소방 구급대원(2명)이 한 팀을 구성해 총 150명의 재난 의료 인력이 경쟁을 펼쳤다.
