인천유아교육진흥원, 유아 도서관 체험교실 자원봉사활동 지원

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청유아교육진흥원이 지난 4월부터 11월까지 ‘읽걷쓰로 만나는 학부모 동아리’ 회원들의 유아 도서관 체험교실 자원봉사활동을 지원했다고 밝혔다.

유아진흥원에 따르면, 이번 활동은 ‘읽걷쓰로 만나는 학부모 동아리(10기)’ 참여 학부모와 자조모임 ‘책동색동’ 회원들이 재능기부 형태로 참여했다.

자원봉사자들은 가재울꿈어린이도서관 놀이마루에서 3~5세 유아들을 대상으로 책 읽어주기 활동을 펼쳤으며, 상·하반기 총 20회에 걸쳐 13명의 학부모와 유치원과 어린이집 유아 440여 명이 함께했다.

한 참여 학부모는 “배운 것을 아이들에게 나누며 보람을 느꼈고, 개인적으로도 성장할 수 있는 계기가 됐다”고 소감을 전했다.

유아교육진흥원은 “이번 자원봉사가 책으로 마음을 잇고 세대를 연결하는 따뜻한 문화 나눔의 장이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 학부모의 자기계발과 유아교육 참여 기회를 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
