행복북구문화재단, ‘행복연극교실 5기’ 발표회 연다

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(대표 박정숙)은 오는 27일과 28일 오후 7시 30분 어울아트센터 오봉홀에서 ‘행복연극교실 5기 연극발표회’를 개최한다고 16일 밝혔다.

‘행복연극교실’은 45세 이상 중·장년층을 대상으로 연극의 기초부터 실전까지 단계별 교육을 진행하는 프로그램이다. 재단은 이 과정을 통해 시민들이 문화예술에 대한 새로운 활력을 찾고, 서로의 인생을 나눌 수 있는 소통의 장을 만들어왔다.

이번 발표회 무대에는 지난 2월부터 9개월 동안 매주 2회씩 꾸준히 연습해온 5기 단원 14명이 참여한다. 이번 극작과 연출은 ‘칠곡할매래퍼’와 ‘보람할매연극단’을 이끌고 있는 황인정 예술 강사가 맡아 완성도를 높였다.

‘사람은 무엇으로 사는가?’는 물질만능주의 사회를 풍자와 해학으로 풀어내는 작품으로, 자본주의 속에서 잃어버린 인간 본연의 가치를 다시 생각하게 하는 메시지를 담고 있다. ‘내 인생의 로또’, ‘내가 떴다방에 가는 이유’, ‘어머니와 설렁탕’, ‘짠순이 선발대회’ 등 네 개의 에피소드로 구성되어 관객에게 웃음과 감동을 동시에 전할 예정이다.

박정숙 대표는 “무대에 오를 14명의 배우들은 인생 제2막을 향한 용기와 열정을 보여주는 주인공들”이라며 “이번 공연이 지역민 누구나 공감하고 응원하는 축제가 되었으면 한다”고 말했다.

이어 “내년 2월에 있을 행복연극교실 6기 단원 모집에도 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
