파주시 가람도서관은 도서관 문화예술 동아리 지원사업에 선정된 운정솔가람합창단의 창작뮤지컬 합창단 이야기가 오는 23일 오후 6시 30분 파주시민회관 소공연장에서 공연된다고 밝혔다.

도서관 문화예술 동아리 지원사업은 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국도서관문화진흥원이 주관하는 공모사업으로, 공공도서관을 중심으로 지역 주민의 문화예술 동아리 활동을 지원하는 프로그램이다.
이번 공연은 가람도서관 합창동아리인 운정솔가람합창단이 직접 기획하고 준비한 무대로, 단원 각자의 노래에 담긴 이야기를 바탕으로 익숙한 가곡과 가요를 새롭게 편곡해 독창과 중창 그리고
합창과 안무 등 다양한 형태로 구성된다.
뮤지컬을 기획한 박상한 단장은 오래 꿈꿔온 일을 동아리와 도서관의 적극적인 지원, 그리고 창작진과의 인연을 바탕으로 실현하게 됐다며 감회를 전했다.
운정솔가람합창단은 가람도서관 스페이스지에서 격주 화요일마다 정기 연습을 하며 지역 주민을 위한 재미있는 클래식 음악회와 요양원 방문 공연 등 활발한 활동을 이어오고 있다.
임봉성 파주시 중앙도서관장은 공연을 위해 오랜 시간 열정적으로 준비한 단원들에게 박수를 보내며 도서관의 문화예술 동아리 활동이 시민들의 꿈을 실현하는 발판이 되길 기대한다고 밝혔다.
