【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북도교육청이 ‘2025학년도 유·초 이음교육 시범유치원 운영 학부모 만족도 조사’ 결과를 19일 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 지난 3일부터 7일까지 진행됐으며, 조사에 참여한 학부모의 93.24%가 “초등학교 입학 적응에 도움이 된다”고 답했다.
유·초 이음교육은 유치원과 초등학교의 교육과정, 생활교육, 적응지원 등을 연계해 입학 초기 학습 격차나 정서적 불안을 줄이기 위해 도입된 제도다.
이번 만족도 조사에는 시범유치원 160곳의 학부모 734명이 참여했다. 경북도교육청은 올해 현장에 맞는 컨설팅, 성과 공유회, 우수사례집 배포 등의 방식을 통해 이음교육의 내실을 다지는 데 주력했다.
특히 경북도교육청은 2022년부터 시범 운영해 온 이음교육을 2026년부터는 지역이나 유치원 여건에 관계없이 모든 유아에게 똑같이 지원할 수 있도록 전면 확대할 계획이다.
임종식 경북교육감은 “초등학교 입학은 아이의 평생 학습을 좌우하는 중요한 전환점”이라며 “학습과 정서의 연속성을 확보해 모든 아이가 안정적으로 학교생활을 시작할 수 있도록 이음교육 체계를 더욱 강화하겠다”고 말했다.
