【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구청이 기후에너지환경부가 주관하는 '2026년 신재생에너지 융·복합지원사업' 공모에 최종 선정됐다. 이에 따라 동구청은 국비와 시비 4억 원을 포함해 총 12억 원의 사업비를 확보하게 됐다.
동구청은 2023년부터 해당 사업을 이끌어왔다. 주택과 건물에 자가소비형 신재생에너지 설비 설치비를 지원했으며, 그간 약 23억 원을 투입해 태양광 276개소, 태양열 17개소, 지열 6개소 등 총 299개소에 설비 설치를 완료했다.
오는 2026년에는 국비 약 2억5천만 원을 포함해 사업 규모가 총 12억 원으로 확대된다. 동구청은 이 예산으로 태양광 152개소, 태양열 2개소, 지열 1개소 등 총 155개소에 신재생에너지 설비를 지원할 계획이다. 이번 사업이 성공적으로 추진되면 연간 약 1천kW의 전력을 생산하고, 약 500톤의 온실가스 감축 효과가 기대된다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “탄소중립과 에너지 자립도시 실현을 목표로 신재생에너지 보급 사업을 꾸준히 확대해 나가겠다”며 “구민들이 더 많은 에너지 복지 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 공모사업 유치에 행정력을 집중하겠다”고 밝혔다.
