브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 20일 ‘삼성 테크 콘퍼런스 2025(Samsung Tech Conference 2025, STC2025)’를 온라인으로 개최했다.
이날 삼성전자는 ‘인공지능 전환(AX, AI Transformation)’을 주제로 △AI 에이전트 △로봇 AI △차세대 보안 △통신 등 혁신적인 선행 기술부터 상용화 기술까지 다양한 성과와 비전을 공유했다.
삼성전자 DX부문 최고기술책임자(CTO) 겸 삼성리서치장 전경훈 사장은 환영사를 통해 “AI는 이미 단순한 도구가 아닌 일상과 업무를 혁신적으로 변화시키는 핵심 동력으로 자리 잡았다”며 “디지털 전환을 넘어 인공지능 전환이라는 새로운 시대가 열렸다”고 강조했다.
이날 기조연설에서 삼성전자는 △AI 기반 차세대 보안 혁신 △지능형 소프트웨어(S/W) 플랫폼의 진화 △AI를 활용한 로봇 기술의 도약 △오픈소스 AI의 생태계 확장 등 인공지능 전환 시대의 4가지 핵심 기술을 소개했다. 또한, 리눅스 재단(Linux Foundation)의 짐 젬린(Jim Zemlin) 의장이 최신 오픈소스 AI 기술 동향을 공유했다.
기조연설 이후 진행된 기술 세션에서는 삼성전자 연구원 60여 명이 통신, 헬스케어, 보안, 스마트싱스(SmartThings) 등 다양한 분야에 AI를 적용한 최신 연구 성과 40여 건을 발표했다.
△보이스피싱과 악성 앱 AI 자동 탐지 △AI 기반 고전 영상 고화질 복원 △30분 만에 갤럭시 XR 콘텐츠 제작하기 △온디바이스(On-Device) 오디오 지우개(Audio Eraser) △무선 통신 기지국 AI 품질 최적화 등 다양한 사례가 소개됐다.
한편, 삼성전자는 지난 8월에 미국 정부 주최로 개최된 글로벌 보안 기술 경진 대회 ‘AI 사이버 챌린지(AIxCC)’ 결승전에서 최종 우승한 삼성리서치의 AI 보안 기술 리더십과 향후 연구 방향도 공유했다.
삼성전자는 앞으로도 다양한 기술 성과를 많은 사람들과 공유하며 개방형 기술 협력과 AI 기술 생태계 확장을 위해 노력할 예정이다.

Additionally, Jim Zemlin, Chairman of the Linux Foundation, shared the latest trends in open source AI technology.
Following the keynote address, a technical session featured approximately 60 Samsung Electronics researchers presenting approximately 40 of their latest research findings on applying AI to various fields, including communications, healthcare, security, and SmartThings.
A variety of case studies were presented, including: △Automatic AI detection of voice phishing and malicious apps; △AI-based high-quality restoration of classic videos; △Galaxy XR content creation in 30 minutes; △On-Device Audio Eraser; and △AI quality optimization for wireless base stations.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics shared the AI security technology leadership and future research directions of Samsung Research, the finalist in the AI Cyber Challenge (AIxCC), a global security technology competition hosted by the U.S. government in August.
Samsung Electronics will continue to share its diverse technological achievements with a wide range of people and strive to expand open technological collaboration and the AI technology ecosystem.
